The Solano County R.E.A.D.Y. Centers were developed in partnership with the Workforce Investment Board of Solano County and Solano County Health & Social Services to assist Job Seekers as they work toward reaching employment and life goals. Job Seekers participate in a program which has been designed not only to assist them in establishing and achieving their goals, but also in assisting them as they work to maintain those goals. The following is meant to provide Job Seekers with a basic overview of the program and a few general expectations.
All clients of the R.E.A.D.Y. Center Program are referred by Solano County Health and Social Services.
The Workforce Investment Board of Solano County R.E.A.D.Y. Centers will empower job seekers to become self-sufficient by creating a positive, motivating environment in which people feel important and valued. R.E.A.D.Y. Center Staff will practice and uphold the five principles of self-sufficiency:
Urgency, Ownership, Learn-by-Doing, Life-long Learning, and Motivation
R.E.A.D.Y. Center Staff will create an atmosphere in which work is valued and responsibility for one’s actions is mandated and respected.
