Career Fair

The WIB hosts two Career Fairs each year – in the spring and fall – that are no cost to the employer or the job seeker. The WIB Regional Career Fair is a highly publicized and widely attended event. The Fall Career Fair (hosted in October 2011) drew over 1,000 job seekers!

The next WIB Regional Career Fair will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will again be held at the University of Phoenix, 5253 Business Center Drive in Fairfield.


If your business is interested in attending the Career Fair as an employer, the WIB has some guidelines that must be met in order to be considered for a table.

 

1. Your business must have current job openings that you are recruiting to fill immediately.
2. Your business must have regular hourly or salaried jobs available. Unfortunately, we cannot allow businesses that recruit for Independent Contractor positions at this time.
3. Your business must be an EOE in full compliance with all State and Federal hiring practices.
